Patron Account Features
To help users manage their research, WorldCat Discovery offers several patron account features that can be accessed by clicking "Sign in" in the upper right corner, selecting "BGC Users," and using BGC login credentials. Tip: Click "Remember my selection" to use the same login system in the future.
Faculty & Staff
- When signed in, each faculty and staff member can see and renew items checked out to their account.
- Reminder: Because items are not electronically checked out to students, they will not appear in student accounts. Head to the Circulation Policies & Procedures tab for more information on our check-out system for students.
All Users
- All signed-in users can view their search history, save items and searches, and create lists and alerts from those saved items and searches.
- Note: Saved items are only saved temporarily unless they are moved to a Personal List you create while signed in. For further information on saving items and creating and managing lists, see this instructional video.
